Give your budding young artist a summer of creative exploration at the Mary M. Torggler Fine Arts Center’s Summer Art Camps! Click here for details on each session and to register!

Designed for children and teens ages 5–14, our camps, held in the Torggler’s state-of-the-art building on the campus of Christopher Newport University, offer unique, hands-on art experiences led by experienced art educators. Campers will explore an exciting variety of art media, techniques, and processes through classes in ceramics, painting, and drawing as well as digital art and photography.

June 15 - August 13, 2026
Morning Camps | Monday - Thursday, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Afternoon Camps | Monday - Thursday, 1 - 4 p.m.
