    Since 1981, the Foodbank, a member of Feeding Americaâ„¢ and the Federation of Virginia Food Banks, has been providing food for hungry people throughout Southeastern Virginia and on the Eastern Shore.

    In our mission to lead the effort to eliminate hunger in our community, the Foodbank has distributed over 272 million pounds of food equating to over 226.8 million meals throughout our 4,745 square mile service area, which includes the cities of Norfolk, Portsmouth, Chesapeake, Suffolk, Franklin and Virginia Beach as well as the counties of Southampton, Northampton, Sussex, Isle of Wight and Accomack.

    PiN exists to provide food, clothing, shelter, and free medical care for people that are either homeless or extremely poor. The ultimate focus is to help the homeless of Hampton Roads transform their lives by meeting them where they are and sharing a God that loves them and wants a relationship with them.   10. Seton Youth Shelters
    Seton Youth Shelters provides 24-hour emergency shelter for youth ages 9 up to 18 years old, serves runaway, homeless, and trafficked youth and youth in crisis within their family, school and/or community. Youth Outreach Program includes Van Outreach, Safe Place services and Special Outreach Projects. A FREE mentoring program is available to youth 4 to 18 years old who have been affected by the incarceration (past or present) of someone in their lives.
