Since 1981, the Foodbank, a member of Feeding America™ and the Federation of Virginia Food Banks, has been providing food for hungry people throughout Southeastern Virginia and on the Eastern Shore.
In our mission to lead the effort to eliminate hunger in our community, the Foodbank has distributed over 272 million pounds of food equating to over 226.8 million meals throughout our 4,745 square mile service area, which includes the cities of Norfolk, Portsmouth, Chesapeake, Suffolk, Franklin and Virginia Beach as well as the counties of Southampton, Northampton, Sussex, Isle of Wight and Accomack.
For The Youth - local nonprofit committed to empowering young people and enriching our community through education and support. Through a variety of seminars, classes, and community events, we strive to make a lasting impact on the lives of both adults and youth. Afterschool and summer camp programs available.
Education for All Ages: From business seminars to youth workshops, we offer a range of educational programs tailored to different age groups and interests.
Community Feeding Programs: Each year, we host our annual "Feed the People" event, where we come together to provide nourishment and support to those in need within our community.
Youth Empowerment: Our ultimate goal is to offer our youth programs to our low-income community members at no cost or low cost, ensuring that financial barriers never stand in the way of their growth and development.
The Greater Hampton Roads Diaper Bank is a nonprofit organization that was created to provide emergency supplies of diapers to those in need. Organized list of participating community partners throughout Hampton Roads.

The Housing Crisis Hotline is the starting point for anyone who is experiencing a housing crisis throughout Greater Hampton Roads and in need of shelter, case management, and related services and/or community resources.
The Blessed Hands program provides the Hampton Roads community with essentials such as formula, diapers, wipes, clothing and much more!
This program has no qualifications and is open 1pm - 3pm every Saturday. Please arrive by 12:30pm if in need of diapers, wipes, and/or formula.
The Wesley Community Service Center, Inc. provides multiple programs and support for urgent and unmet individual, family and community needs in the South-side of Portsmouth Virginia. Food distribution, clothes closet, exercise class, Meals on Wheels, Summer Camp.
