Weekly nature group for homeschoolers that meets once a week for group activities, nature walks and free play. Activities are geared towards elementary aged children but younger siblings are welcome.

Montessori in Nature is an inclusive outdoor playgroup & co-op inspired by the Montessori philosophy, Forrest school, and respectful parenting. They meet outdoors on Mondays at 10:30am as well as one Saturday a month. They also occasionally have field trips and park play dates on Fridays. This group is designed for ages birth- six but siblings are welcome. They hold play-date meet-ups, hikes, and various nature adventures on and around the peninsula.

The Navigators USA alternative scouting program was created to include everyone, and to help each person develop their fullest potential without discrimination. We aim to establish a world without prejudice or ignorance, and to treat every person with respect, no matter their race, creed, lifestyle, or ability.

Offering scouting for children as young as 3-years-old to adults. Each age level, or section, has a unique program where scouts can earn badges for challenging themselves, learning, and growing as a person and a member of their community.

Guided Eco Tours in the Coastal Virginia area – offering customizable nature experiences for private-groups & Saturday Escapes tours (on most weekends) that are open to everyone. Summer camps highlighting local nature experiences are available.

Whimsical and Wondrous is based in Hampton Roads for small gathering of homeschooling families who enjoy nature and learning.
