4-H is the youth (ages 5 to 19) development education program of Virginia Cooperative Extension. 4-H is rich with learning experiences where young people partner with caring adults and volunteers in a fellowship unlike any other program available to youth today. During the summer, 4-H offers a range of day and residential (overnight) camps.
Community Workshop and Studios. Tools, Equipment & 24/7 access for people who want to design, play, make, create, and innovate. Classes are available in all different mediums. Summer camps available.

Join Rosie Riveters for a FREE hands-on, project-based STEM program for girls ages 5-14. The Rosie Riveters program provides a fun space for girls to imagine, create, and play while developing their skills in STEM.

The Virginia Earth System Science Scholars (VESSS) program is an interactive online science, technology, engineering, and mathematics learning experience for Virginia high school juniors and seniors, highlighted by a seven-day residential summer academy at NASA Langley Research Center in Hampton, Virginia. Students selected to participate in the program are immersed in NASA-related research, focusing on the Earth’s responses to changes in climate, weather, and natural hazards, through interaction with scientists, engineers, and technologists.
