Tucked away on Virginia’s Eastern Shore, NASA’s Wallops Flight Facility plays an incredibly important role in our understanding of earth and space science. Since its beginnings, Wallops has launched more than 16,000 rockets carrying science experiments, technology, and satellites. The public is invited to explore the history and future of NASA’s Wallops Flight Facility at the Wallops Visitor Center through engaging exhibits, videos, events, programs, and facility group tours.

Chincoteague Bay Field Station is committed to excellence in education and research in the marine and environmental sciences. Maintains marine stations where both field and laboratory investigations of coastal ecosystems are conducted under the supervision of university faculty and qualified marine education instructors.
