CCCS provides therapeutic services to the youth, families and adults in the Tidewater area through counseling, skill-building and community support services. Our services range from ABA, Intensive In-home, Mental Health Skill Building and Outpatient therapy. We accept Medicaid, Commercial Insurance and self-pay that varies for each program.

East End Academy, Inc., is a private provider of various customized programs for students with disabilities and at-risk youth. Grades K-12. After-school and Summer programs are available. Mental health services provided onsite.

A holistic approach to community support for families with disabilities. We believe that in order to truly support individuals and families, we must address all aspects of their lives, including physical health, mental health, and social support.

Although infants and toddlers learn and grow at their own pace, early childhood development often follows predictable patterns. Skills such as taking a first step, smiling for the first time, and waving “bye-bye” are called developmental milestones. Children reach milestones in how they play, learn, speak, act and move (crawling, walking, etc.)

For any number of reasons, many young children need a little extra help to reach certain developmental milestones. And since infants and toddlers grow and learn so quickly, it’s important to get that extra help as early as possible if you or your child’s doctor have any concerns about your child’s development. Early identification and intervention can make a difference!

The Infant & Toddler Connection of Virginia provides supports and services for infants and toddlers, and their families so that families can help their children learn during everyday activities and routines. These supports take place in the child’s natural environment, such as their home, daycare, or even the local library.

If you are concerned about your child’s development, the first step is to contact the Infant & Toddler Connection in your area. They will schedule an intake and evaluation to determine if your child is eligible for services. This is provided at no cost to families.

If your child is eligible, we will work with you to identify the goals that you have for your child and what services we will provide to help you help your child reach those goals. This will be outlined in your family’s Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP). Developing the plan is also provided at no cost. Your family will be assigned a Service Coordinator, at no cost to you, to help you navigate through the program.

PBP Psychotherapy, Ltd is an outpatient counseling clinic offering therapy for individuals, groups, couples and families as well as professional development training and parenting education. We specialize in play therapy, grief, trauma, and family counseling.
2-hour Summer Enrichment Camps focusing on helping your child(ren) develop and enhance tools related to feelings identification, self-soothing techniques, self-esteem, friendships, anger, gratitude, compassion, and empathy.

Shooting Star Counseling's Acting Up! is a small, play-based social group for neurodivergent kids ages 8–12 in Hampton Roads. Through improv games, cooperative activities, movement, and guided interaction, kids build confidence, friendships, and social skills in a fun, low-pressure environment designed to support authentic connection. Runs as a week long summer camp and a weekly 6 week group on weekends.

Especially supportive for children with ADHD, autism, anxiety, and social difficulties.

Led by Laura Samalya, LPC, a neurodivergent-affirming therapist who also provides individual therapy services for children, teens, families and adults in Virginia Beach.
