Shooting Star Counseling's Acting Up! is a small, play-based social group for neurodivergent kids ages 8–12 in Hampton Roads. Through improv games, cooperative activities, movement, and guided interaction, kids build confidence, friendships, and social skills in a fun, low-pressure environment designed to support authentic connection. Runs as a week long summer camp and a weekly 6 week group on weekends.

Especially supportive for children with ADHD, autism, anxiety, and social difficulties.

Led by Laura Samalya, LPC, a neurodivergent-affirming therapist who also provides individual therapy services for children, teens, families and adults in Virginia Beach.
