Adaptive Dance for All is a program for children and adults of all ages in an inclusive atmosphere. This program serves any mental or physical disabilities to develop social skills, independence, motor learning, and verbal proficiency. Programs are offered throughout the year.

Our mission is to provide unparalleled support, guidance and resources for students with special needs and their families, ensuring access to educational opportunities, services and accommodations. With our team of experienced educators, we are dedicated to fostering an inclusive environment that empowers and educates learners and their families of their rights under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and all federal protections for people with special needs. We strive to build a respectful community for all marginalized students; this helps to ensure they receive instruction, support and accommodations to access the general education curriculum and find success. We are dedicated to empowering families to learn how to advocate effectively. We also offer tutoring services to any student in need regardless of ability and grade level.

​Aid Another provides inclusion programs that exclusively considers special needs families. Aid Another provides inclusive educational, cultural and recreational programs that are designed to improve quality of life, reduce isolation and enhance social settings.

Autism Society Tidewater Virginia (ASTV) is celebrating, over 40 years of non-profit services, education, advocacy, services, and support to children, youth, and adults with autism, their families and friends, and professionals who serve them.  We are a local affiliate of the national Autism Society, founded in 1965.

The Community Outreach Coalition is a nonprofit organization that ministers to low-income youth and children with disabilities through academics, athletics, and the arts. Our goal is to create a safe, positive, happy, modest and age appropriate experience in which all of our students can feel comfortable and free to express themselves.

Pony affiliated baseball and softball association for ages 4-19. The Champions League provides the opportunity for children with special needs to pursue their dreams of team sports in America’s favorite pastime. It is our goal to provide an environment that enhances the participants’ self-esteem and physical mobility, and embodies the spirit of teamwork and community.

A not-for-profit organization serving the needs of individuals with Down Syndrome and their families.

Therapeutic horseback riding program for individuals who have mental, physical, emotional, social or learning disabling conditions. Summer programs are available for both the therapeutic riding participants and an inclusion camp open to the public. Campers must be able to follow verbal directions, have an interest in learning about horses and horse care, and be toilet trained. Each day campers will receive both mounted riding and ground lessons in order to learn proper horsemanship while having tons of fun! The camp will help to build positive relationships with fellow campers, equines, staff, and counselors.

Families of Autism Coming Together (FACT) offers a variety of programs and services for local children and young adults with autism, and their families. Family Fun Days | All Ages & FREE! Welcoming of all ages and abilities The FACT Resource Center in Virginia Beach provides a supportive and nurturing environment through collaborating, cooperating, and cohabitating of multiple local programs serving the autism community. On-site resources include the Factivity hall,  board room, gymnasium, sensory gym, and quiet room.
