4-H is the youth (ages 5 to 19) development education program of Virginia Cooperative Extension. 4-H is rich with learning experiences where young people partner with caring adults and volunteers in a fellowship unlike any other program available to youth today. During the summer, 4-H offers a range of day and residential (overnight) camps.

An instructional hub for STEM learning driven by team building and collaboration allowing opportunities for students and people of all ages, abilities, and disciplines to learn by designing creative solutions to real-world problems.
Open Makerspace: Biweekly program that allows community members to use our makerspace equipment to complete their own projects.
Family Makerspace Program: Monthly program that allows families with kids of all ages to explore STEAM in a fun and hands-on way!
Summer Camps: Hands-on experiences for children of all ages related to STEAM.
Field Trip Opportunities: Various STEAM experiences available for schools and other youth organizations.
The Morale, Welfare and Recreation programs at Fort Eustis include programs for all ages. Programs for children (offered seasonally) include dance, youth sports such as soccer, basketball, volleyball, baseball, cheerleading, fun runs, and robotics. Summer camps available.
Scouting Programs and Summer camps, open to Girl Scouts and non-Girl Scouts ages 6 and up.
