4-H is the youth (ages 5 to 19) development education program of Virginia Cooperative Extension. 4-H is rich with learning experiences where young people partner with caring adults and volunteers in a fellowship unlike any other program available to youth today. During the summer, 4-H offers a range of day and residential (overnight) camps.

The Morale, Welfare and Recreation programs at Fort Eustis include programs for all ages. Programs for children (offered seasonally) include dance, youth sports such as soccer, basketball, volleyball, baseball, cheerleading, fun runs, and robotics. Summer camps available.

About MEESA Maritime Engineering and Environmental Studies Academy (MEESA) is a college partnership lab school between Newport News Public Schools and Old Dominion University, designed to prepare students for high-demand careers in the maritime industry through hands-on, experiential learning.
