4-H is the youth (ages 5 to 19) development education program of Virginia Cooperative Extension. 4-H is rich with learning experiences where young people partner with caring adults and volunteers in a fellowship unlike any other program available to youth today. During the summer, 4-H offers a range of day and residential (overnight) camps.

Shooting Star Counseling's Acting Up! is a small, play-based social group for neurodivergent kids ages 8–12 in Hampton Roads. Through improv games, cooperative activities, movement, and guided interaction, kids build confidence, friendships, and social skills in a fun, low-pressure environment designed to support authentic connection. Runs as a week long summer camp and a weekly 6 week group on weekends. Especially supportive for children with ADHD, autism, anxiety, and social difficulties. Led by Laura Samalya, LPC, a neurodivergent-affirming therapist who also provides individual therapy services for children, teens, families and adults in Virginia Beach. Spotlight Productions believes every child has a natural talent. It is our mission to develop that talent, self-confidence, and self-esteem in a non-stressful environment. Straight Up and On Pointe is a social issue based performing arts program for teens, about teens. It gives teens, a productive outlet to express their hopes, dreams, and fears, through all aspects of performing arts. Ages 13+
