We are a Mindful Holistic Whole Brain Developmental Children's Educational Organization created to promote opening social and emotional awareness and educational play in a stress-free, balanced, nature-focused environment for ages 18months-17 years.
Brave New School summer camp was beyond fun for my 2.5 year old. There are not many programs that can provide the outdoor experience they do at the Brave New School. Brien and Amy are very welcoming to all and very engaged with the group. Photos are uploaded throughout the day which is greatly appreciated by parents. We will definitely be back each year!
Brave New School has helped my 5 year old grow so much. When he first started their program he didn't want to participate in activities or try new foods. Now he is one of the first ones to volunteer for certain tasks and even eats foods he always refused previously. He has shared some of the mindfulness tactics that are utilized. Behaviorally, they have helped so much. My child has even begged to stay longer for meditation. He loves going there and gets disappointed when he isn't able to go. They let children be children. Learning is play-based and developmentally appropriate.
We have 3 kids enrolled in the hybrid options and have nothing but positive things to say. Our kids enjoy the outdoor all weather aspects and want nothing more than to be with their friends each day. The teachers and staff truly care for the children and their individual paths to learning.

I was nervous about how he would adjust, but the care, structure, and support we've both received have been incredible. The transition was much easier than I expected, and my son has been thriving—he’s happy, engaged, and having so much fun. I truly couldn’t ask for a better experience.

Both of my sons attend Brave New School and we feel so fortunate to have found them! It’s such a welcoming community and an environment that truly allows children to be children. They encourage self expression and emotional regulation which is such an under developed skill in most people. They also use creative means to teach so the kids aren’t sitting at a desk for 7 hours a day! They are outside and living while learning.
