Foodbank of the Virginia PeninsulaEstablished in 1986, Virginia Peninsula Foodbank has been the leading hunger relief organization across the greater Peninsula serving the 1 in 7 Virginians who experience the daily hardships of food insecurity. Food banks provide healthy food to individuals, children, families, seniors and veterans who otherwise might go without.
Virginia Peninsula Foodbank serves families in the cities of Hampton, Newport News, Poquoson and Williamsburg, and the counties of Gloucester, James City, Mathews, Surry and York. -

The Housing Crisis Hotline is the starting point for anyone who is experiencing a housing crisis throughout Greater Hampton Roads and in need of shelter, case management, and related services and/or community resources. -
Transitions Family Violence ServicesTransitions Family Violence Services is the sole provider of comprehensive family violence services in Hampton, Newport News and Poquoson, and a co-provider of services for York County.
