4-H Club Programs and Camps4-H is the youth development education program of Virginia Cooperative Extension. 4-H is rich with learning experiences where young people partner with caring adults and volunteers in a fellowship unlike any other program available to youth today. Every spring, SHUTDOWN 757 hosts a free football camp, open to all local youth irrespective of what team or league that they play for. We work with friends trying to kick those tough sounds like /l/, /r/, or /s/, following multi step directions, expressing an organized thought or story and social language skills. Whatever goal or area of weakness can be worked on in a fun, engaging environment while simultaneously strengthening swimming skills. All are welcome. We have many students without communication needs attend group or individual lessons to strengthen skills in swimming and stroke technique.
