A HAUNTING AT GREENBRIER FARMS

Address: Historic Greenbrier Farms 225 Sign Pine Road, Chesapeake VA 23322
Dates:  Friday & Saturdays, September 26 – October 31, 2025. From 7-10pm

FORT MONROE GHOST WALK

Address: Fort Monroe Visitor & Education Center, 30 Ingalls Road, Fort Monroe, VA

Activity:  The Ghost Walk at Fort Monroe is back again and sharing the haunting tales that accompany the very real history of Fort Monroe. Activity: Our Horror Tours are back to bring tales of mystery and the macabre to the streets of Hampton…and with more fun and fright than ever before! THE HAUNTED TRAIL AT ENDVIEW PLANTATION 

Address: Historic Endview Plantation, 362 Yorktown Rd, Newport News, VA 23603

HAUNTED HOUSE- WALK OF TERROR

NORFOLK:

HAUNTED NORFOLK TOUR

Address: Moses Myers House, 323 E Freemason St, Norfolk, VA
Dates:  Select dates in September and October 2025
Cost: $25 adult, $20 child. Must be purchased in Advance.
Activity: The Haunted Norfolk Tour themes are of an adult nature, and include references to ghosts, murders, suicides, and other treachery. It is at a parent’s discretion as to whether their child is mature enough for this content. 90 minute walking tour.

SPOOKY ACRES HAUNTED HOUSE

Address: MacArthur Center, 300 Monticello Ave, Norfolk VA
Dates: September 26, 27, 28. October 3, 4, 5, 10, 11, 12, 17, 18, 19, 24, 25, 26, 30, 31. November 1st. 
Cost: $20 cash only at the door.
Activity: Walk through if you dare… Come celebrate 30 years of haunting with the March of Dimes annual Spooky Acres Haunted House! We’ll scare the “yell” out of you! Portion of proceeds to benefit the March of Dimes.

GHOST TOURS OF GRANBY THEATER

Address: The Granby Theater 421 Granby Street Norfolk, VA 23510
Dates: Fridays, October 3 & 10, Saturdays October 18 & 25, 2025. One hour tour starting at midnight.

Activity: Come experience real life stories and experiences from theater staff about the ghosts that exist here at the Historic Granby Theater. We have over a 100 year history here at the theater with deaths that have taken place within the theater and the ghosts that remain.

HAUNTED TEMPLE

Dates: Friday–Sunday, October 10 – November 1, 2025. Beginning at 7pm

Activity: Each October, the Norfolk Masonic Temple transforms into the Haunted Temple…. creepy clowns, spirits, ghosts, and undead to bring the visitor’s nightmares to life, and the state-of-the-art animatronics and special effects ram up the terror. Ages 13+. Find a link to updates here.

OLDE TOWNE GHOST WALK 

Address: Trinity Episcopal Church, 500 Court Street, Portsmouth, VA
Date: Friday, October 24, 2025 from 5:30-9:30pm.
Cost: $15 -17. Children under 5 years old are free.
Activity: Ghosts of the Olde Towne Ghost Walk tell their tales of love, loss, murder and mayhem! Patrons are guided on a walking tour through the historic district of Olde Towne, Portsmouth. At each haunted house visitors hear costumed actors retell the legends of ghostly visitations and things that go bump in the night! This tour is family friendly. It’s spooky, not scary. SMITHFIELD:

TWILIGHT CEMETERY TOURS

Address: St. Luke’s Historic Church & Museum, 14477 Benns Church Blvd, Smithfield, VA 23430
Family Tour: Friday, October 17, 2025 from 6-7pm

• Cost: $15 per person, children under 5 are free, in-person event.
• Tour: They say “Dead men tell no tales,” but that’s not true! Come out and hear the stories of those buried in Virginia’s oldest continuous cemetery at St Luke’s Historic Church & Museum. This is NOT a ghost tour but it might get a little spooky at times.

Adult Tour: Friday, October 17, 2025 hourly from 7-10pm.

• Cost: $30
• Tour:  Adults Only Twilight Cemetery Tours. Guests must be 21 years of age or older to participate. IDs will be checked. Start off with a tasting from Sly Clyde’s Cidery of Hampton and then enjoy a tour of our ancient cemetery. They say; “Dead men tell no tales,” we disagree. Come and enjoy the stories of those buried here at St Luke’s Historic Church & Museum.

SUFFOLK:

LEGENDS OF MAIN STREET: A SUFFOLK GHOST WALK

Address: Suffolk Visitor Center, 524 North Main Street, Suffolk VA 23434
2025 Dates: September 27 at 8pm. October 24 at 7pm. October 25 at 7pm. November 1 at 7pm
Cost: $10 adults; $8 adults over age 60, military, and children under 17. Not recommended for children under 9.
Activity: Follow a costumed guide through the shadows of historic Suffolk discovering stories, legends and “unexplained occurrences” by lantern light.

VICTORIAN SUFFOLK: DYING TO BE THERE, A Guided Discovery of Cedar Hill Cemetery

Address: Seaboard Station Railroad Museum Parking Lot, 326 North Main Street, Suffolk, VA 23434
2025 Dates: Saturday, September 20 at 6pm, Saturday, October 18 at 5:30pm, Saturday, November 15 at 4 pm.
Cost: $7 adults; $5 seniors (60+), military, and children 12 and under.
Activity: The tour will feature Victorian-era symbolism, burial practices, funerary industries, and mourning rituals. This intriguing and educational excursion will highlight how the residents of Suffolk both lived and died in the 19th century.

BUSCH GARDENS HOWL-O-SCREAM

Activities: Busch Gardens® Howl-O-Scream® returns this fall, taking over the entire park with five haunted houses, six terror-tories™, four sinister shows and more. Activity: From authentic 18th-century colonial ghost stories to creepy modern-day encounters, costumed storytellers share unnerving tales on this Colonial Williamsburg walking ghost tour. The one-hour candlelit walking tour begins at the Market House and is suitable for ages eight and older. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Runs rain or shine, except in cases of severe inclement weather. Unfortunately, most of the interior spaces are not accessible to wheelchairs and scooters. Tour is not ADA accessible.
