What: Join us as we participate in the 7th Annual Chick-fil-A Christmas Parade sponsored by Chick-fil-A of Portsmouth Boulevard on December 1! The Parade will begin at 9:00 a.m. and end at 10:00 a.m. and will feature a number of different local groups, bands, and floats. Don't miss it!
Where: On Atlantic Avenue between 15th Street and 25th Street, Virginia Beach Oceanfront, Virginia Beach VA

What: Giant balloons, marching bands, lighted floats, equestrian units, fire trucks, performing dance groups, motorcycles, and more join forces to present a dazzling and entertaining night of fun for all ages! And, best of all, Santa himself makes a grand appearance to greet all his loyal fans as the evening winds down and thousands of families take the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful Virginia Beach oceanfront!

What: Pre-parade festivities start at 6 and include caroling around a beach bonfire, a musical performance by the Fifes & Drums of York Town, and complimentary hot cider..... The boats will finish out the evening, as they make their way down the river in a dazzling show of lights that starts at 7 p.m. This annual event has been a community tradition for more than two decades, and brings neighbors together to celebrate the season. Some of the boats take almost 20 hours to decorate! As an added safety precaution, families are encouraged to bring flashlights to assist in navigation around town at night. No rain dates are scheduled for the holiday weekend events.

What: Enjoy the joy and spirit of the Christmas season in our Coastal City. The community comes together for the evening to celebrate in the holiday spirit. The Judges Stand will be at Dominion Village, and Santa will be part of the final procession courtesy of Poquoson Fire and Rescue. This year's theme: "The Spirit of Christmas"

What: Children’s activities include colonial crafts, holiday music, and rides on the Polar Express! Everyone is invited to march in the Toyland Parade through Riverwalk Landing led by the Fifes and Drums of Yorktown with festivities beginning at 1 p.m. Don your strollers, wagons, pets, and kids in your most impressive holiday spirit.

What: Join in the lights and sounds of the Suffolk Holiday Parade. The parade starts at 7pm. Find the best spot to watch the floats, equestrian units, marching bands and festive vehicles stroll down West Washington Street and take a turn up North Main Street with the parade route ending at Finney Avenue. This year’s Grandstand will be in front of the Suntrust Building in the 100 block of North Main Street. Be there to catch the performances of the local bands and performance groups. Free parking for the event is available in all City public lots including the Godwin Courthouse parking lot, Saratoga Street lot, Commerce Street Lot and Market Park parking lot.

What: Experience the largest illuminated parade on the Peninsula at 7:00 p.m. in downtown Hampton. This year's theme is "Holiday Lift Off" in celebration of NASA's 100th anniversary in Hampton. Hampton Holly Days Parade will feature over 70 units, including beautiful floats, marching bands including high school bands, auto clubs, dance groups, military honor units, and everyone’s favorite holiday guest…Santa Claus!
