They Need to Know You Care, Before They Care What You Know. For those of you who work with, or volunteer with children and youth, a FREE training is coming up on Trauma Informed Care.

Where: Oak Grove United Methodist Church 472 N Battlefield Blvd, Chesapeake VA

When: Thursday, May 11, 2017 from 9am-12:30pm

Cost: FREE

Description: Learn the signs, symptoms and prevalence of trauma in children and youth and what you can do to help them succeed. When we understand the impact of trauma on the developing child, we can build reciprocal relationships that help children and youth learn to cope with adversity and develop resilience.
