Upcoming Lowe’s Kids’ DIY Workshops (In Store)

Lowe’s is back with FREE Kids’ Workshops now taking place IN-STORE! Now known as DIY Kids’ Workshops (instead of Build and Grow) these workshops are still free, and have some great new projects. Make sure to register as these events will fill up and scroll down to see the full list of upcoming workshops.

Bring your mini-DIYer into Lowe’s at one of the select time slots. Workshops hosted by one our Red Vest experts are held from 9:00am – 12:00pm, in-store only. We look forward to building with you and your little ones! Don’t forget – if you are unable to attend during your selected timeslot, your kit may be given away to Walk-Ins starting at 12:00pm, the day of the workshop. Space is limited, so register today!  Kits are recommended for ages 4+.

Workshop/Kit: My First DIY Tool Box

• Date: Saturday, January 20, 2024 from 10am-1pm
• Location: All participating Lowe’s locations
• Description: Time to get to work! This kids tool box workshop will have your little helper eager to tag along on your next home improvement project.

Workshop/Kit: Chalkboard Message Center

• Date: Saturday, February 10, 2024 from 10am-1pm
• Location: All participating Lowe’s locations
• Description: Your mini-DIYer will love building this chalkboard that also doubles as a vase. It’s the perfect way to say “I love you” all year long.

Workshop/Kit: Bird Feeder

• Date: Saturday, March 16, 2024 from 10am-1pm
• Location: All participating Lowe’s locations
• Description: Gather your mini-DIYers and bird lovers to craft a flower-shaped bird feeder. Kids will learn basic building skills as they create a unique ornament to attract our feathered friends.

Workshop/Kit: Garden Cart Planter

• Date: Saturday, April 20, 2024 from 10am-1pm
• Location: All participating Lowe’s locations
• Description: Kick-off spring with your little builder as they create a garden cart planter. Kids can grow new skills and take home a fun garden project just in time to start some seeds!
