Upcoming Lowe’s Kids’ DIY Workshops (In Store)

Lowe’s is back with FREE Kids’ Workshops!

Now known as DIY Kids’ Workshops (instead of Build and Grow) these workshops are still free, and have some great new projects. Make sure to register as these events will fill up and scroll down to see the full list of upcoming workshops.

Bring your mini-DIYer into Lowe’s at one of the select time slots. Workshops hosted by one our Red Vest experts are held from 10:00am – 1:00pm, in-store only.

We look forward to building with you and your little ones! Don’t forget – if you are unable to attend during your selected (registered) timeslot, your kit may be given away to Walk-Ins starting at 12:00pm, the day of the workshop.

Space is limited, so register today!  Kits are recommended for ages 4+.

Workshop/Kit: Play Firehouse

• Date: Saturday, October 18, 2025 from 10am-1pm
• Location: All participating Lowe’s locations
• Description:The fun alarm is ringing! Let your kid celebrate Fire Safety Month with mini-firehouse workshop by Lowe’s and First Alert. Mini-builders get to create their own miniature firehouse complete with a working pole. This hands-on project encourages creativity and introduces kids to the importance of fire safety. Fun all-around!

Workshop/Kit: Holiday Letter Box

• Date: Saturday, November 15, 2025 from 10am-1pm
• Location: All participating Lowe’s locations
• Description:Celebrate the season of giving and community with Lowe’s Holiday Letterbox workshop! Let your kid build a personalized hanging letterbox to hold the family cards while they countdown to the holidays using the calendar decal. This festive project sparks excitement and creativity as mini-builders learn basic building skills and make a forever keepsake!

Workshop/Kit: Sleigh Ride Toy

• Date: Saturday, December 20, 2025 from 10am-1pm
• Location: All participating Lowe’s locations
• Description: Get ready to sleigh the season with Lowe’s Sleigh Ride Toy workshop! Mini-builders get to build and decorate their own toy complete with reindeer, sleigh and Santa. This magical project brings holiday cheer while teaching kids basic construction and fine motor skills. A great way to get into the holiday spirit and create a toy they’ll treasure.
