Upcoming Lowe’s Kids’ DIY Workshops (In Store)

Lowe’s is back with FREE Kids’ Workshops now taking place IN-STORE! Now known as DIY Kids’ Workshops (instead of Build and Grow) these workshops are still free, and have some great new projects. Make sure to register as these events will fill up and scroll down to see the full list of upcoming workshops.

Bring your mini-DIYer into Lowe’s at one of the select time slots. Workshops hosted by one our Red Vest experts are held from 10:00am – 1:00pm, in-store only. We look forward to building with you and your little ones! Don’t forget – if you are unable to attend during your selected timeslot, your kit may be given away to Walk-Ins starting at 12:00pm, the day of the workshop. Space is limited, so register today!  Kits are recommended for ages 4+.

Workshop/Kit: Kinetic Sandbox

• Date: Saturday, July 20, 2024 from 10am-1pm
• Location: All participating Lowe’s locations
• Description: Dive into a world of sun, sand, and imagination with Lowe’s! Perfect for budding engineers and outdoor enthusiasts, kids can dig-in, design, and build their own kinetic sand playground. From towering castles to winding roads, the possibilities are endless! Not only will your mini-DIYer interact with fun STEM concepts; they’ll also develop important motor skills and sensory awareness as they manipulate the sand. Join us for a day of sandbox adventures where creativity knows no bounds!

Workshop/Kit: Mini Treehouse

• Date: Saturday, August 17, 2024 from 10am-1pm
• Location: All participating Lowe’s locations
• Description:  Embark on a magical journey into the treetops with our Mini-Treehouse workshop! Guided by our expert instructors, you’r mini-DIYers imagination will soar as they learn basic carpentry skills and construct a tiny abode. Whether it’s a cozy fairy hideaway, a secret clubhouse for their collection , or a lookout tower for Mr. Mouse, the Mini-Treehouse is sure to become a cherished memory. Join us for a day of building, bonding, and making memories that will last a lifetime among the leaves and branches!
