Coastal Montessori School

Coastal Montessori School provides an authentic Montessori education rooted in collaboration and child-centered learning. CMS nurtures the whole child—academically, socially, and emotionally—while expanding access to Montessori education across Coastal Virginia. With more than 150 years of combined teaching experience, our educators guide students to become independent learners, creative problem-solvers, and compassionate members of their communities.

Our mission is to nurture curious, confident, and compassionate learners by providing an authentic Montessori education from toddlerhood through the elementary years.
