Opening Day – Santa’s House in Portsmouth

For those of you who enjoy the continuing tradition, Santa’s House will be celebrating Opening Day this Saturday, and every child will receive a gift…. Enjoy visits with the Frozen sisters, and watch Santa arrive on a Firetruck!

When: Saturday, December 2, 2017 from 9:30am (Santa arrives at 10am)

Where: Kroger Marketplace parking lot, Frederick Blvd, Portsmouth VA

Description: Imagine yourself as a child on Christmas not having anything to open, and worse when you go back to school and everyone is talking about what they got for Christmas. What would you say? What would you do? The Santa House of Midtown Portsmouth is a non-profit organization created to bring smiles, and change, to the Portsmouth community. The Santa House started back in 1957 by the Portsmouth Jaycee’s and closed in the mid-1990s. In 2015, Scott and Jeannie Hunt partnered with Kroger to rebuild the Santa House of Midtown Portsmouth on the parking lot of the Portsmouth Kroger Marketplace.
