Opportunity – Youth Conservation Corps (YCC)

The Youth Conservation Corps (YCC) offers a great opportunity for youth, ages 14-17, to do important work in the Virginia State Parks. If your teen loves the outdoors and wants to make a positive contribution to the Virginia State Park program this could be a great fit!

The Youth Conservation Corps program is now hiring Crew Members and Crew Leaders for summer 2024!

• Crew Members (ages 14-17) will serve for 2 weeks, living and working in a state park, and will receive a $750 stipend upon successful completion of the program.
• Crew Leaders (college-aged or older) will mentor and supervise youth for both sessions, totaling a 6 week period of employment and receiving a $6500 stipend.

Summer 2024 Sessions:

• Session 1: June 16-29, 2024
• Session 2: July 7-20, 2024
