Military Families- Impact of Media Violence on Children

Military Families, there will be a workshop: The Impact of Media Violence on Children, on December 12, 2013 from 1-3pm at Fleet and Family Support Center Norfolk.

According to a link provided in the FFSC Facebook Post The workshop is a part of the Adults & Children Together Against Violence program and will address the impact that exposure to media violence has on the development of young children and what families can do to reduce their child’s exposure to media violence. Parents and professionals working with
children will learn:
. Ways that children are exposed to media violence
. Strategies to reduce the impact of media violence in young lives
. Facts related to media violence
. What families should teach young children about media
