Daytime Date Idea: Summer Celebration Wine Festival 

Where: Lee Hall Mansion 163 Yorktown Road Newport News VA

When: Saturday, June 8, 2019 from 11am-6pm

Cost: Tickets cost $20 in advance or $25 at the door. Non-Tasting tickets also are available for $10. More information HERE.

Description: Join the Peninsula Jaycees on the grounds of Lee Hall Mansion in Newport News for a fun Individual Development outing as we learn about and taste wines from Virginia wineries. Hailed as one of the most popular springtime festivals in Virginia, the Summer Celebration Wine Festival also features craft vendors, food trucks and live music.

Wineries include:

• Amrhein’s Wine Cellars
• Elk Island Winery
• Horton Vineyards
• Lake Anna Winery
• Mattaponi Winery
• Naked Mountain Winery
• Rebec Vineyards
• Saude Creek Vineyards
• Shoe Crazy Winery
• Vintner’s Cellar Winery of Yorktown 

A variety of wine-related craft vendors will be on-site. Food will also be available for purchase on site. Entertainment includes the bands Joe’s Day Off and the Rhythm Kings. The first floor of the historic house as well as the permanent exhibition will be open for touring and is included with Festival admission. NO pets. Id’s will be checked at the gate.
