The State Fair of Virginia

The State Fair of Virginia is coming up this fall – save these dates! Tickets go on sale Sept 1, 2025.

Where: Meadow Event Park, 13191 Dawn Blvd, Doswell VA 23047

When: September 25 – October 5, 2025. Open daily 10am-9pm. Amusement rides open at 11am daily and the Midway will continue to operate for a minimum of one hour after the Ticket Plaza closes or longer on weekends at the discretion of fair management. Buildings open until 9 pm.

Cost: Tickets are always less expensive when bought online, and there is pre-event sales pricing available through Sept 25th. No gate tickets sold at the Ticket Plaza after 8 pm.

  • Pre-sale through 9/25: $0 – $13.50/person (ages 0-4 are free admission) 
  • During the fair: $0 – $15.50/person (ages 0-4 are free admission) 
  • At the gate – weekdays: $ 0 – $16/person (ages 0-4 are free admission) 
  • At the gate – weekends: $0 – $20/person (ages 0-4 are free admission) 
• Military – ($3 off the regular gate price) for active-duty service members, National Guard, Reserve, retired military and retirees with a current military ID, and Veterans with a Virginia DMV veteran’s credentialed license or ID card. • Unlimited ride wristband 2025 Pricing $23 – 35/person
• General parking is FREE. Premium parking is available for a fee.

Description: The State Fair of Virginia is a multi-day event at the beautiful rural setting of The Meadow Event Park, which opened in 2009.
