Tarnished Truth Distillery – Tour and Tasting

Where: Tarnished Truth distillery inside the Cavalier Hotel at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront (4200 Pacific Ave)

What: TWO People will Receive a tasting, a tour and a keepsake, etched, Glencairn tasting glass. Try four of their products including Tarnished Truth’s: bourbon mash moonshine, three-year high-rye bourbon, nine-year single-barrel bourbon and bourbon cream liqueur. 

About the Tarnished Truth: Immerse yourself in the historic world of distilled spirits by taking a tour of Tarnished Truth Distillery. You will be guided past cookers, fermentation tanks, and all-copper stills where we craft our award-winning products. Our guides will give you the origin story of the countries first ever operating distillery within a hotel and a start to finish explanation of how we craft our spirits in small batches. After exploring the distillery, you are guided to our tasting room to try four of our products including our bourbon mash moonshine, our three-year high-rye bourbon, our nine-year single-barrel bourbon and our bourbon cream liqueur. The tour finishes with a walk through the Hunt Room, the full restaurant and bar adjacent to the distillery. Once a speakeasy, this modernized area is the perfect place to grab their famous smoked old fashioned cocktail using our Tarnished Truth bourbon. Your tour will conclude in the distillery retail shop where tasters will receive an etched Glencairn tasting glass. The distillery tour is complimentary and all ages are welcome. To partake in the tasting, tickets are $20 per person and include a Glencairn tasting glass.
