Date Night: First Fridays Crush Competition in Norfolk

Where: 15 different locations throughout downtown Norfolk VA

When: Friday, July 5, 2019 from 5-8:30pm

Cost: 4oz. pours for $2 at each location (while supplies last)

Description: Your favorite Downtown Norfolk challenge is back! Celebrate the First Friday of July at participating restaurants all around Downtown with the second annual First Fridays Crush Competition. Downtown restaurants are serving up their best version of everyone’s favorite summertime cocktail – THE CRUSH – for the chance at being crowned KING OF THE CRUSH and win $500. Vote for your favorite crush on the FB event poll below. Voting ends 9:30pm on July 5th!

Here are the Crush rules:

• The competition only runs from 5pm to 8:30pm, so check this event page to plan the spots you want to hit.
• Each participating restaurant has a limited number of our special Crush Competition cups and will only be offering $2 samples until they sell out.
• You can only get one $2 competition sample at each location. So if you really love it and want another, you’ll have to purchase a full-size one.
• Pick up one of our handy score cards at your first stop to keep notes about your favorites (or least favorites).
• Get ready to be impressed! These bartenders are coming up with their most creative take on the crush so you vote for them to win the $500 prize.
• Please drink responsibly and don’t drink and drive!
• Grab your friends and get ready to meet your new crush! Sample as few or many as you’d like at participating restaurants.
