The Butterfly House at Norfolk Botanical Garden – Open for the Summer!

Norfolk Botanical Garden Butterfly House

A great local attraction for everyone who loves butterflies…and who doesn’t love butterflies???

Norfolk Botanical Garden opens the doors of the Butterfly House for Summer 2025 on Father’s Day Weekend! Come walk through the enclosed structure and observe butterflies up-close as they fly throughout the house and land on their favorite nectar flowers.

A great learning experience for the kids where they have the opportunity to learn the habits and life cycles of these beautiful creatures.

The Butterfly House is included with regular Garden admission and is open daily from 10am-7pm. When you’re done in the Butterfly House head over to the 2 acre Bristow Butterfly Garden that includes a giant Butterfly Maze! This giant maze is in the shape of a butterfly and covers ½ an acre. It includes more than 1500 linear feet of pathways.
