Busch Gardens 2020 – COVID-19 Update

Below are just a few of the accommodations being made by Busch Gardens Williamsburg as the COVID-19 shutdown continues. See the full list, and additional updates HERE. According to their website:

If you are a Busch Gardens Member/Season Pass Holder:  While our parks remain temporarily closed, we are automatically extending all active Annual Passes and Membership products to SeaWorld and Aquatica for a period of at least as long as the temporary closure.

Members who completed their initial term of their EZpay contract prior to park closure and did not defer payments, will have their payments after the re-opening of the park waived for a period of time equivalent to the length of closure. EZpay members who are within their initial commitment of their contract and did not defer payments, will have the payments after their initial term is completed waived for a period of time equivalent to the length of closure. For EZpay members who completed the initial term of their contract during park closure and did not defer payments, the payments after we reopen will be waived for a period of time equivalent to the length of closure.

Additionally, we will be offering all active Pass Members complimentary rewards and special benefits as a token of our appreciation. Pass Members will receive additional bring a friend days so that your friends and family can join in on the fun and spend an unforgettable day with you exploring the parks and your favorite attractions. Additionally, as a sign of our appreciation for you, our loyal Pass Member, we will be granting complimentary membership tier upgrades for all active Annual Passes for the remainder of 2020 as well as additional SeaWorld Pass Member events.

Active Pass Members will receive their additional perks automatically prior to the parks reopening.

If you have already bought tickets: Expiration dates for tickets that may have expired in 2020 will be automatically extended through December 31, 2021. Internationally purchased tickets will be automatically extended through the first week of 2022. No action required on your part. (Fun Cards – per social media Busch Gardens Fun Cards will be automatically extended by a period at least as long as the temporary closure, blockout dates may apply. No action is required on your part- this will be done automatically.)

Guests who have in-park experiences that are date specific and will not be able to be used during the time that the park is temporarily closed, will be able to reschedule through December 31, 2021.

If you have purchased a vacation package: Reservations for vacation packages booked prior to April 19, can be rebooked on any date, subject to availability, prior to December 31, 2021. No change fees will apply.

If you have a child ages 3-5 don’t miss your chance to Sign-up for the FREE Preschool Pass! The dates for this pass will likely be extended as well but they haven’t yet announced the specific dates. Stay tuned for updates! *This year you will no longer have to bring a birth certificate and go to customer service to wait in line to confirm the pass for your child.
