Hampton Blackbeard Festival 2026

The 2026 Blackbeard Pirate Festival will take place June 13 – 14, 2026 in Hampton, Virginia!

The Blackbeard Pirate Festival descends upon downtown Hampton this year with FREE fun for all ages, especially the kids!

Find out why pirate lovers come from all over the country to enjoy the sights and sounds of 18th century Hampton overrun by pirates each year. Hampton’s waterfront comes alive with dozens of pirate re-enactors, costumed in historically accurate garb, who transform today’s Hampton into the busy seaport of yesterday.

Led by Blackbeard the Pirate himself, re-enactors help visitors step back in time and re-live the history and legends of 1718 Hampton. The Festival offers a variety of children’s activities, live musical entertainment, fireworks, period vendors, arts and crafts, and much more!

The Blackbeard Pirate Festival is FREE and open to the public:

  • Saturday, June 13, 2026 from 10am-10pm, Fireworks at 9:30pm
  • Sunday, June 14, 2026 from 10am-6pm
