Air Force FlyBy in Support of COVID-19 Heroes

It is time for a FlyBy! The F-22 Raptor Demo Team & Air Force Heritage Flight Foundation are doing a FlyBy over Hampton Roads on the evening of Tuesday, May 12, 2020!

From the Joint Base Langley-Eustis Facebook Page: Here are the flight maps for tomorrow’s #VAFlyBy. The formation will begin in Richmond tomorrow, May 12 at 6:30PM* and will head south to Virginia Beach.

Be on the lookout, as the jets will be soaring above at an altitude of 1000 feet! Be sure to tag #VAFlyBy and #AFSalutes in your social media posts for a chance to be featured in an Air Force video production!

Virginia residents should watch the flyover from the safety of their home-quarantine and should refrain from traveling to see the flyover. Social distancing should be maintained at all times.

Inspired by the #AFSalutes initiative, the flyover is intended to provide a salute to all the healthcare professionals, frontline responders, and essential personnel working to keep everyone healthy and safe during the fight against COVID-19.

*Times are subject to change or cancellation due to weather or maintenance.
