Welcome Our New Advertising Partner: Virginia Air & Space Center!

Please help me give a warm welcome to our new advertising partner, the Virginia Air & Space Center in Hampton! The Virginia Air & Space Center has endless learning opportunities for the whole family and are getting ready to launch a brand new exhibit, just for preschoolers!

Space Racers: Adventures in Space Exploration is based on the new animated children’s television show Space Racers, coming to US public television and broadcasters in 2014. This new interactive exhibit for ages 3 to 6 allows children to explore the wonders of space together in a fun and creative atmosphere.

Discover cool space facts, build a rocket, learn about space food, exercise like an astronaut, and sleep on a wall! Suit up in a spacesuit, explore the moon’s surface, and learn about gravity as you manipulate the lunar rover. Track a space mission from mission control and investigate the starry night sky.

Space Racers: Adventures in Space Exploration opens to the public on Saturday, July 12th and there will be opening day activities including:

• Face Painting
• Temporary Tattoos
• Space Cadets program
• Walking on the moon activity
• Meet Eagle!
• Make n’ Takes and more!
