Virginia Zoo Digital Calendar

Does your active child love to create art?

Now through 5pm on Friday, August 14, 2020, submissions are being accepted for a digital artwork contest with winners to be featured in the 2021 Virginia Zoo Calendar. The following types of art will be accepted:

2D (flat) images that depicts current Virginia Zoo animals in media to include, but not limited to:

  • hand-drawn or vector illustrations or drawings
  • paintings (acrylic, oil, finger paint, spray paint, etc)
  • personal family photos in animal costumes (photo release required)
  • sketches
  • chalk drawings
  • collages
