Description: The Virginia International Tattoo, produced by Virginia Arts Festival, is renowned as one of the world’s great tattoos, known for sharing a profound sense of American pride and patriotism, presenting the traditional sounds of the massed pipes and drums, and celebrating friends and allies through the spectacle of our international performers.  

The 2022 Virginia International Tattoo – our Silver (25th) Anniversary edition – will be an extraordinary homecoming for all involved. The Tattoo will return to its longtime home at Scope Arena in Downtown Norfolk; our international performers will be back with a renewed desire to share their music, culture and traditions; and the free preshow Tattoo Hullabaloo will once again wow crowds for hours every day.
