Upcoming Child Safety Seat Inspections!

Is your child’s safety seat installed correctly?

Studies show that 8 out of 10 are installed in a way that could endanger the child in the event of a crash. Fire stations are usually a great place to get your car seat installation checked!
In Yorktown the following Saturdays will have formal child safety seat checks from 10sm -1pm (FREE):
  • May 4 at Fire Station 1 – 5751 George Washington Memorial Highway (Route 17)
  • May 11 at Fire Station 3 – 114 Hubbard Lane (Bruton)
  • May 18 at Fire Station 2 – 4405 Big Bethel Road
What to bring:
  • Your vehicle
  • Your child safety seat
  • Manual for the seat
  • Your child
Can’t attend one of these events? Just call (757) 890-3600 M-F from 8:15am-5pm to schedule an appointment with one of the certified technicians. Click HERE for more information.
