Toys For Tots 2012

Each year leading up to the winter holidays many businesses, non-profits, community organizations, individuals and families contribute to the local Hampton roads Toys for Toys Drive. Please help spread the word about this program and the great work they do to make sure that local children have a special holiday.

If you plan on contributing this year consider donating an item for an older child. People often donate toys for the very little ones and Toys for Tots runs of out items for the older children first. Some suggestions for older children include watches, sports equipment, books, craft kits, handheld electronics/video games, board games, and clothing.

Paying It Forward

This year Toys R Us has not only extended their FREE layaway program for the holidays but they have committed to donating $200 to Toys For Tots (up to $1 Million in toys) every time a generous individual or family chooses to pay it forward by going to a local store and paying off the balance of a layaway order in their community.
