Save the Bay Family Day! The Chesapeake Bay Foundation invites the Hampton Roads community to celebrate over 50 years of saving the Bay! Bring your family and friends and celebrate the saving of a national treasure with an exciting day of educational experiences, local bites, live music, games, and more!

Where: Brock Environmental Center 3663 Marlin Bay Dr, Virginia Beach, Virginia 23455

When: Sunday, September 9, 2018 from 12:30-4pm. Doors open at 12:30, event begins at 1pm.

Cost: Free, but registration is required. Click HERE to Register.

  • Cruise the Bay aboard the Jenny S!
  • Learn about bees in their natural habitat!
  • Make a fish-print bandana!
  • Meet a mermaid!
  • Build an oyster cage!
  • Science time: Dissect an oyster or menhaden!
  • See a live bug display!
  • Live Bay critter touch tank!
  • Face painting!
  • Treasure hunt!
  • Build an oyster filter!
  • And much more!
