2022 Opportunities for the Kids to Holiday Shop!

Holiday Gifts - Kids Shop

A list of local fundraisers and/or special events where kids can “shop” with a little assistance from Santa’s Helpers. Please submit additions to this free listing HERE.

Kids’ Christmas Shop at St Patrick School (Norfolk)
Date: Saturday, December 3, 2022 from 8:30am-12:30pm
Where: Saint Patrick Catholic School, 1000 Bolling Avenue, Norfolk, VA 25308
What: Union of Hands Circles invite you to the annual Kids’ Christmas Shop at Saint Patrick Catholic School! Come join this long-standing holiday tradition where kids from toddlers to teens can shop on their own (with the help of “elves”) for holiday gifts for friends and family! Pre-registration is required. Choose your time slot and number of gifts below. 3 gifts for $25, 6 gifts for $50, 9 gifts for $75 or 12 gifts for $100. Santa will stop by; don’t forget your camera! Proceeds will benefit CHKD!

Kids Christmas Santa Shop at Our Daily Gnome (Chesapeake)
Date: Saturdays, December 3 & 10, 2022 from 1-3pm. Wednesday, December 7 from 6-8pm.
Where: Our Daily Gnome, 729 South Battlefield Blvd, Chesapeake, VA 23322
What: Do your little ones have a list of people they want to purchase gifts for? Let us help with our first Annual Kids Christmas Shop. Bring your child with their list of whom they are shopping for, the budget they can spend and we will help them shop for each person on their list. Once they have chosen all of their gifts, we will gift wrap them for FREE. Gifts are $15 and under and will be located in our special Santa Shop section.

The Children’s Shoppe (Yorktown)
Date: December 3-4, 2022.  Saturday from 10am-5pm and Sunday from 12-3pm.
Where: Yorktown Mercantile, 7330 General Washington Memorial Hwy, Yorktown VA
What: Kids can shop for their loved ones in an area filled with gifts ranging from $1-$10

Annual Children’s Christmas Shoppe (Portsmouth)
Dates: December 10-11, 2022. Saturday from 9am to 4pm, and Sunday from 12-4pm. Appointment required ONLY for Saturday shopping.
Where: Trinity Episcopal Church, 500 Court Street, Portsmouth, VA
What: Children ages 3-12 can shop for their families and friends assisted by one of Trinity’s ‘Elves.’ All gifts are $4. Reserve your child’s time on Saturday to shop. The Shoppe is open on Sunday with no appointment needed. There will not be gift wrapping on Sunday.
