Opening Update: Norfolk Botanical Garden

Norfolk Botanical Garden Logo

While Norfolk Botanical Garden has stayed open to visitors throughout the COVID-19 shutdown it has been operating without some of the standard programming. Here is the most recent update for COVID-19 and re-opening at Norfolk Botanical Garden:

  • MAY 15, 2020: All Stand-Alone Public Restrooms are open again, including the Administration Parking Area, Butterfly Garden and the Picnic Shelter.
  • JUNE 12, 2020: All buildings will re-open including the Administration Building, the WOW Exploration Station, Baker Visitor Center (including the Gift Shop and Member Services Desk) The Education Complex (including the volunteer office, classrooms and the Heutte Library) Classes will resume in person with proper distancing and small group rentals/events of less than 50 will be allowed. Masks will be required to enter all buildings.
  • It is recommended that you bring your own hand sanitizer and wear masks in community spaces. You can purchase admission tickets online to avoid personal contact.
