Military Appreciation at The Hampton History Museum

This weekend the Hampton History Museum kicks off a period of FREE Admission for Military!

From November 9 – November 17, 2013 Active Duty & Retired Military and NASA peronnel will enjoy FREE admission to the Hampton History Museum.

Even more, they also have a Activities Free and open to the public for EVERYONE this weekend as a part of their 2nd Saturday Family Day.

What: 2nd Saturday Family Day “Giving Thanks—The Real Story of Turkey Day!”

When: Saturday, November 9, 2013 from 11am-2pm

Cost: Free and open to the public

Description: Did you know there are several celebrations that claim to be the “First” Thanksgiving? Learn what most of these celebrations have in common. Contribute to a hanging display of what we are thankful for and create your own take-home craft. You can also dress up to have your picture taken as a Pilgrim or Wampanoag Indian and play games that children in both groups would have enjoyed.
