Mermaid Parade in Norfolk

Calling all Mermaids and Mermen! Save the date for this FREE Mermaid event coming up at MacArthur Center in Norfolk!

Where: MacArthur Center, 300 Monticello Ave, Norfolk VA

When: Saturday, September 14, 2019 from 10am-1pm

Cost: Free!

Description: Slover Library and MacArthur Center are joining forces to celebrate 20 years of #NorfolkVA‘s unique Mermaids! We are calling all Mermaid and Merman fans to dress up in their best “mer” attire to participate in the Mermaid Parade. Yes, YOU will be the parade! Additional events include crafts, performances by the Itty Bitty Ballerinas and 5678 Shine Dancers, a costume contest, face painting & a fun selfie station! Please register for ONE (1) of the three waves by September 8th. Everyone who pre-registers will receive a wrist band for participation in the parade.
