Between May 1 – 31, 2022 both locations will accept membership cards (with valid ID) from the other location.

  • Portsmouth Museums members can reserve tickets for the Virginia Zoo based on the current admittance number permitted to visit under their Portsmouth Museums membership. For memberships that permit more than 8 visitors, you can receive up to 8 admission tickets at no cost.
  • Members can also enjoy a 10% discount in the gift shop and at food service locations.
  • Portsmouth Museum members who join the Virginia Zoo during the month of May can take advantage of two extra months – free – on a Virginia Zoo membership.

  • Virginia Zoo members can also enjoy a 15% discount in the gift shop.
  • Virginia Zoo members receive a 10% discount on a Portsmouth Museums membership.
