July 4 Celebration at Colonial Williamsburg

A great way to immerse yourself in local history while celebrating America’s Birthday! Colonial Williamsburg is offering a FREE Single-Day Ticket for admission to the Historic Area and Art Museums this year on July 4th. Free reservations are required! When: Thursday, July 4, 2024 from 9am-5pm
Cost: FREE! Reservations required: www.colonialwilliamsburg.org/tickets/july4/
Description: In celebration of our nation’s birth, The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation is offering free admission to the Historic Area and the Art Museums on July 4! The following special events are planned that day:
  • Declaration of Independence Reading at 9:30am
  • Salute to the States at 10:30am
  • Noon Reading of the Declaration at 12pm
  • Public Auction at 1pm
  • Building Washington’s Army at 2pm
  • Lights of Freedom Fireworks at 8pm
