Where: NASA Wallops Flight Facility Visitor Center Route 175 Chincoteague Rd, Building J-20 Wallops Island, VA 23337
When: Friday, October 19, 2018 from 7-10pm 
Cost: Free and open to the public
Description: The event begins with a moon-themed presentation at the NASA Visitor Center’s Auditorium at 7:00 p.m. followed by night sky observations of Earth’s Moon through telescopes on the grounds of the Visitor Center from 7:30 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. Moon-themed movies, hands-on activities and crafts also will be available throughout the event. The event is free and open to the public. The Moon presentation and indoor activities will take place regardless of weather; however, the telescope viewing is subject to cancellation due to inclement weather.

JEB Little Creek – Eagle Haven Golf Course 1500 Hewitt Dr, Virginia Beach, VA
When: 
Saturday, October 20, 2018 from 7:30-9pm 
Cost: Free and open to all ages.
Description: Military families, Military ID required for base access. Come join the Back Bay Amateur Astronomers and the JEB Little Creek Library for a family program of a night out under the stars for military members and their families. Celebrate International Observe the Moon Night with us. Saturn and Mars will also be up this evening and we might be able to find other celestial objects as well.
