These two events (one on the southside and one on the Peninsula) popped up for me this week and I wanted to share them with you. There are lots of things we worry about as parents, and especially in regards to human trafficking, knowledge is power.

What: What Every Parent Should Know About Human Trafficking

Description: Join us as we share in open dialogue and bring Human trafficking awareness to our communities. Kidnapping and sex trafficking are no longer a great “story line,” but a current and real threat to our neighborhoods. Parenting on Purpose wants to provide you with resources, tools, and techniques to help you maintain power and a sense of peace. Our goal is to make you aware of what to look for at home, in public, and online to avoid and prevent hazardous and risky situations. This event will encourage you to become more involved in your family’s safety. Come join us for this much-needed parent empowering session.
