Free Social Skills Group for Autistic Youth (Ages 6-10)

The Up Center is hosting FREE Social Skills and Autism Skill Building Groups for Children ages 6-10, and a Parental Support Group for Caregivers. There will be locations for this group in both Norfolk and Portsmouth.

Description: Children ages 6-10 with normal-to-high IQ and verbal skills will practice improving their social interactions in a group of their peers. While the children are working on these skills, the parents will participate in a support group to share their experiences, give and receive practical feedback, and enhance parenting skills to further respond to the unique needs of their children
