Fleet Fest 2023 This Weekend!

So glad this event is back! This weekend in Norfolk, come out to enjoy the FREE Fleet Fest on Naval Station Norfolk! Fleet Fest is open to the public and includes ship tours, aircraft displays, car show, live entertainment, children’s activities and more.

Cost: Free and open to the public

Description:  Naval Station Norfolk’s annual Fleet Fest event is back, free, and open to the public! Join us on Saturday, October 21 as the base presents ship tours, live entertainment, static aircraft displays, large children’s play area, military demonstrations, chili cook-off, food vendors, craft beer from local breweries and more.

The Bounce House:  The World’s Largest Bounce House (see picture on flyer below) stands at 32 feet tall at its highest point and covers an area of over 16,000 square feet. (additional picture here)

Inside you’ll find giant slides, ball pits, climbing towers and basketball hoops alongside fun, friendly, over-sized characters of various colors, shapes and sizes. In the center of this bounce house is a custom-built stage where the resident DJ turns up the party by hosting games, competitions, and playing music tailored to each age group. Jump times will run every 20 minutes with a 10-minute break in between each session. There is a maximum weight limit of 245 lbs. and a maximum height limit of 85 inches (7’feet 1″inch). A minimum height restriction of 36 inches (3’feet) applies at our slide. Socks are required to jump. You can find the waiver for the bounce house here: LINK

Ship Tours:  Fleet Fest ship tours are on the USS George Washington (CVN 73), USS Mahan (DDG 72), Coast Guard Cutter Seneca, and the Coast Guard Fast Response Cutter. Ship tours will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.  The line for a ship tour will close at 4:30 p.m.
