Fleet Fest 2024

Mark your calendars for the FREE Fleet Fest on Naval Station Norfolk! Fleet Fest is open to the public and includes ship tours, aircraft displays, live entertainment, children’s activities, the annual chili cook-off and more.

When: Saturday, October 19, 2024 from 10am-5pm. Rain or Shine

Cost: Free and open to the public

Description: Naval Station Norfolk’s annual Fleet Fest event is free, and open to the public! Join us on Saturday, October 19 as the base presents ship tours, live entertainment from The Deloreans and United States Fleet Forces Rock Band, static aircraft displays, large children’s play area, military demonstrations, chili cook-off, food vendors and more.

Activities: There are a variety of things to do, activities and entertainment at this year’s Fleet Fest. Featured activities include:

• Live entertainment featuring The Deloreans and United States Fleet Forces Rock band
• Carnival
• Static aircraft displays
• Coast Guard silent drill team performance
• U.S. Navy search and rescue demonstration
• Military working dog demonstration
• Landing craft air cushion demonstration
• U.S. Coast Guard search and rescue demonstration
• Navy Seal insertion and extraction demonstration.

Ship Tours:  Fleet Fest ship tours are on the Amphibious Assault Warship and USS Gonzalez (DDG 66), and Coast Guard Fast Response Cutters from 10am-5pm. The line for a ship tour will close at 4:30 p.m.
