Coastal Edge East Coast Surfing Championships

The Coastal Edge East Coast Surfing Championships are back again in 2025! 

Where: 1st Street Jetty at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront

When: Sunday, August 17 – Sunday, August 24, 2025

A few highlights for the kids and family this year:

SURFING: Coastal Edge ECSC Surfing Championships: Head down to the beach to see some of the best surfers around ride the waves in Virginia Beach. Bring your mini surfers down for the

• Annual Coastal Edge Supergrom – a FREE “Push N’ Go” surf contest for kids ages 10 and under – Sunday, August 17th from 8am-noon. Register Here
• Surf competition events for ages 11+ – registration is required – Register Here

Adaptive Beach Day – Monday, August 18th from 8-11am at 2nd Street

SKATING: East Coast Pipe Dream Classic on August 22-24, 2025 – at the Mini Half Pipe for the Inaugural East Coast Pipe Dreams Classic Skate Competition.

• FREE Skate Clinic – August 22, 2025 at 2pm – Come down to the Mini Half Pipe at 4th Street for a free skate clinic led by John Fudala!
• FREE Skate Clinic – August 23, 2025 at 10am – Come down to the Mini Half Pipe at 4th Street for a free skate clinic led by John Fudala!
• Register young skaters for Mini Ramp competition ($30) with divisions for ages 7 and under, ages 8 – 11, ages 12 – 15, and ages 16 and up.
• Open Skate is just $10 a day Friday through Sunday! Register Here.
