Coastal Edge East Coast Surfing Championships

The Coastal Edge East Coast Surfing Championships are back again in 2026! 

Where: 1st Street Jetty at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront

When: Sunday, August 23 – Sunday, August 30, 2026

A few highlights for the kids and family this year:

SURFING: Coastal Edge ECSC Surfing Championships: Head down to the beach to see some of the best surfers around ride the waves in Virginia Beach. Bring your mini surfers down for the

• Annual Coastal Edge Supergrom – a FREE “Push N’ Go” surf contest for kids ages 10 and under – Sunday, August 23rd from 8am-noon. Register Here
• Parent assist Push-In. Registration is required (Saturday & Sunday) –Register Here
• Surf competition event for ages 11 and under, as well as multiple events for ages 12+. Registration is required –Register Here

Adaptive Beach Day – Monday, August 24th from 8 – 10am new time: 4-6pm at 2nd Street

SKATING: East Coast Pipe Dream Classic on August 29-30, 2026 – at the Mini Half Pipe for the Annual East Coast Pipe Dreams Classic Skate Competition.

• Register young skaters for Mini Ramp competition ($30) with divisions for ages 7 and under, ages 8 – 11, ages 12 – 15, and ages 16 and up.
• Open Skate is just $10 a day Friday through Sunday! Register Here.
