Date Night – Nightcap at The Hermitage Museum

Wander through the museum after hours and discover a cool mix of music, interactive art, and mingling. 

Where: The Hermitage Museum & Gardens, Norfolk VA

When: Friday, December 6, 2019. Doors open at 5:45 pm

Cost: General Admission: $10 | Members: $7. Tickets available in advance or at the door while space remains. Members with their membership card in hand will receive $1 discount on each alcoholic beverage. 

Description: Experience an evening of art, entertainment, and holiday cheer as we gather around our custom 1914 Steinway piano, break out the Sloane family’s vintage record collection, and view our display of rarely-seen Sloane family holiday materials. Igor Acord of Igor’s Custom will be on-site creating his raunchy, unconventional hand-painted holiday ornaments and will discuss his work and creative process. His ornaments will be available for purchase throughout the evening.

Enjoy complimentary hors d’oeuvres from Capt’n Crabby and drinks available for purchase from the bar including our Hermitage Holiday Egg Nog.

Igor is a Virginia Beach-based artist with an artist studio located on 19th Street in the ViBe Creative District. He is a skilled, professional hand painter who creates signs and pinstriping the way it was done before computers. His work includes hand-painted custom lettering and pinstriping for cars, motorcycles, storefront signs, side show banners, murals, and more.
