Busch Gardens Kids’ Weekends 2023
Busch Gardens is celebrating KIDS with special weekend activities on select dates in April 2023! This is the perfect opportunity to active your FREE Preschool Pass before the May 31st deadline!
March 31 – April 2: Julia & Friends Weekend – Join us as we celebrate our Sesame Street friend, Julia! April is Autism Acceptance Month, and Julia is an amazing 4-year-old with autism who shows kids that we’re all a little different but share in the same joy of play and friendship. Draw, dance and enjoy a fun-filled weekend spent with Julia and her friends Elmo, Abby Cadabby & more. Plus, take photos with her in Sesame Street® Forest of Fun™, and catch a special Storytime with Julia and her friend Elmo.
April 7-9 – Cookie Monster’s Easter Weekend! Spend the holiday weekend with Cookie Monster as you hop and bop your way through Sesame Street® Forest of Fun™! From dance parties and an Easter egg scavenger hunt, to storytime and photos with your favorite furry friends, you won’t want to miss all the fun in store
April 14-16: Bert & Ernie’s Rubber Duckie Weekend – Rubber Duckie, you’re the one! Families can join Bert, Ernie and his special pal Rubber Duckie for a themed scavenger hunt, an interactive dance party and a storytime created with friendship in mind.
April 21-23: Oscar’s Earth Day Celebration Weekend – Reduce, reuse, recycle! Join Oscar the Grouch and his Sesame Street friends during Oscar’s Earth Day Celebration. Transform trash into treasure while creating art projects from recyclable materials, participate in an earth-inspired scavenger hunt and more during this educational and engaging weekend.
BONUS INFO: Don’t forget to sign up for the FREE Preschool Pass for Kids ages 3-5, you must register online and visit by May 31 to activate!

- Let’s Play Together! Exclusively during Busch Gardens Kids’ Weekends, enjoy a heartwarming show with your Sesame Street® friends in the Globe Theatre. Join Elmo and friends as they play, sing and dance, while learning all about the beauty of friendship. Guarantee an up-close seat to Let’s Play Together during the show time of your choice with Reserved Seating.
- Sunny Day Celebration: Don’t miss sing-along, dance-along fun with Elmo, Abby Cadabby, Grover, Cookie Monster, Zoe, Rosita, Count von Count, Ernie and Bert. The Sunny Day Celebration takes place every 30 minutes throughout the day on the Sesame Street® Forest of Fun™ stage. Show times are subject to change without notice.
- Furry Friends Dance Party – Let loose and groove to the beat with a DJ dance party hosted by your Sesame Street friends including Elmo, Rosita and Super Grover.
- Flower Maze – Families can explore and grow with each twist and turn in this colorful outdoor flower maze.
- Sesame Street Storytime – Listen to a special story with your Sesame Street friends, with new books featured each weekend of the event.
- Special Photo Opportunities – Enjoy photo opportunities with your Sesame Street friends at 1-2-3 Smile with Me!
- Arts & Crafts – Enjoy fun crafts and coloring pages themed for each weekend during Busch Gardens® Kids’ Weekends. Plus, artists big and small have the opportunity to share the masterpieces they create on our family-friendly art display.
- Kid-Friendly Rides! The little ones can explore pint size thrills like Grover’s Alpine Express, Elmo’s Spire, The Little Balloons and more between all the activities of Busch Gardens Kids’ Weekends.
