Brains On, the wildly popular podcast for kids, is hitting the road with a hilarious science-themed show that takes the audience on an adventure through our brains.

Hosts Molly Bloom, Marc Sanchez, and Sanden Totten will be there with magic tricks, dance moves, out-of-body experiences, mystery sounds, and even a game show! All the while, kids (and their grown-ups) learn how our brains take a handful of signals from the eyes and ears and turn them into a vibrant picture of the world.

About Brains On Universe

Brains On Universe is an independent media company for kids and curious adults. We make podcasts, books, videos, and more. Our goal is to fill the world with stuff that is smart and funny, silly and serious, all at once — just like the people in our audience.

Molly Bloom, Marc Sanchez, and Sanden Totten are real-life friends who cooked up Brains On in 2012. They were working as journalists at Minnesota Public Radio and wanted a side project that brought more smiles to the world.

Their goal was to make shows for kids that: 1) didn’t talk down to kids 2) highlighted kids’ voices and passions and 3) didn’t annoy adults.

With those guiding principles, they went on to create the hit podcasts Smash Boom Best, Forever Ago and Moment of Um. After incubating these shows at American Public Media, the team eventually went independent to focus on the Brains On Universe full time.
